Praying for Israel. Lead by the Holy Spirit. I saw multitudes of people in front of the wailing wall. And I saw that they were praying and interceding as was their custom for many years. Waiting for the Messiah to come, we, as Christians, know that the Messiah is Jesus Christ, the Lion of Judah. This thought came to me as I was praying. Could it be that the Jews are praying in front of this wall for the Messiah, the risen King, the lion of Judah? I have not done much study on this, so please don't throw cobblestones at me. But one thing I do know is that the Lion of Judah will roar as was prophesied by Joel the prophet.
"The Lord will roar from Zion and thunder from Jerusalem; the earth and the heavens will tremble. But the Lord will be a refuge for his people, a stronghold for the people of Israel." Joel 3:16 NIV
I believe that His return is very close, but so did the apostles. I am not too concerned when he is coming. I am more concerned that I live my life holy and acceptable to God by his grace and mercy. And when he comes, rest assured we will go with him. We need to "occupy till he comes." (Luke 19:11-13). By that, He means you are to do His work on earth — like one who continually looks for His return. You are to be like the faithful servant, who knows not what hour his master may come home — but keeps all things in readiness and is always prepared.
